Affiliate

Overview: 

CIFRS is looking for Affiliates to join our team to work with our Executive Director and research Co-Directors. Affiliates act as experts in the CIFRS network, helping us with media inquiries, writing, and research projects, however, affiliates do not have fixed responsibilities for mentorship or outputs. This position is currently an unpaid volunteer position with the future possibility of transitioning into a part-time or full-time paid position. 

Qualifications:
Essential: 

  • Applicant will have extensive and/or nationally recognized professional expertise

  • Affiliates will have 5-10 years of research experience in a relevant subject area within the scope of far-right studies

  • Experience leading a research team or previous teaching experience

Desirable: 

  • Experience working on high-profile projects which attract media interest, including an interest in speaking with media representatives

  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills

  • A clear commitment and passion for making leading contributions to the research environment and producing high quality research outputs
